| Goals for 2009: |
- Produce and promote the educational event, "It's Not the Big that Eat the Small, but the Fast that Eat the Slow", with author Laurence Haughton.
- Continue the business Visitation program to assist in business growth through providing important business connections through communication.
- Identify prospects from countywide businesses to expand into the Atascadero market.
- Advance the promotion of our citywide sales events, spring into Atascadero and Holiday Magic.
- Continue statewide distribution of brochures promoting Atascadero and surrounding areas.
- Promote Shopping Locally with the Member to Member Discount Program.

- Promoted two citywide sales events, creating public interest to shop locally,
- Spring into Atascadero and Holiday Magic.
- Published the Member to Member Discount in the monthly newsletter and posted it on the website.
- Held three educational events for businesses, “Marketing Your Business in Tough Times, Advertising 101 and the Mid Year Economic Forecast with Bill Watkins, UCSB Economic Forecast Project.
