The guest speaker for May 20 will be Craig Dacus from Atascadero State Hospital. Craig will be discussing what ASH is doing for recruitment of employees and the kinds of people they are looking for to staff the hospital. The fast paced morning program begins at 7:30 am at the Carlton Ambrosia room and ends at 8:30 am. No reservations are necessary, cost is $10 for a continental breakfast at the door.

Mayor Mike Brennler addressed the early morning group of over 30 business people at the Carlton Ambrosia room April 15. Mayor Brennler spoke about the many projects that have been completed, the Lewis Avenue Bridge, the Colony Park Community Center, and televising planning commission and council meetings to promote open and transparent government. $4 Million of City resources are committed to the Wayfinding program, parking, city street cape, Lake Park, Zoo and Paloma Creek Park playground.  In the coming months energies will be spent with the consultant ADE to create a strategic economic development plan and Mayor Brennler asked us to stay tuned and get involved in the process. In addition Campaign Reform is a council goal and Mayor Brennler said,” We truly need to focus on behaviors, especially with this upcoming election.”
