Board Chair, Phil Koziel
Department of State Hospitals, Atascadero
As this year’s Atascadero Chamber of Commerce Board Chair, I am grateful to be surrounded by a distinguished Board of Directors, business advisory councils, and Chamber Staff who exist to be the “Catalyst for business growth, the Convener for leaders and influencers, and the Champion for a stronger community.” Our aim is to create a community where no business can fail.
We are transitioning from a time when businesses shuttered due to lockdowns to present where businesses are flourishing but find themselves in an environment full of new challenges such as inflation, supply chain shortages, and employee deficiencies. The Chamber has felt these difficulties as well. However, we are emerging from the pandemic reinvigorated and ready to lift the business community towards prosperity.
We are especially focused on helping businesses get back on their feet and flourish through economic development, workforce development, and business advocacy. We are expanding the Bridgeworks Coworking space which supports entrepreneurs, small business owners, and women owned businesses.
Here at the Chamber, we will continue to share innovative ideas and strategies to help each other not only to navigate, but to thrive in our current economic climate. We are here as your advocate on the issues that impact your business while moving Atascadero forward.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you to grow your business. I appreciate your trust in me, as it is a great honor to serve as your 2022/2023 Board Chair.
I encourage you to get involved in the Chamber on one of our several councils/committees. The more our members get involved, the more effective we can be. And if you have any thoughts or ideas about how we can better serve our business community, please do not hesitate to contact me personally, or one of our staff members. We look forward to hearing from you.
