About Us...
The Carrizo is recognized for its significant geologic, biological, historical and cultural resources. There are many things to see and do when you are out on the monument depending on your interest. In the spring, sometimes the monument is teaming with wildflowers. Generally the beginning of the wildflower season begins in late March and ends in mid-May, with the peak usually being the beginning of April. Our visitor center is open seasonally December thru May, Thursday through Sunday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Stop in to get brochures and other information while out on the monument. Phone number for the visitor center is (805) 475-2131. Guided and self-guided tours are offered seasonally to some sites on the monument such as the Soda Lake area and Painted Rock. If you are interested in a tour to Painted Rock you will need to go online to to secure a permit. A permit is needed to access Painted Rock so be sure to get it prior to coming. You can also phone toll free at 1-877-444-6777. Please follow established rules when visiting., they are located on your permit.

We are an olive grower, artisan olive oil producer. Additionally, we offer climate-controlled storage, bottling, labeling, packaging, and shipping services with a tasting space and a lovely events venue for parties or meetings of 25-125 in size. Property visits are available by appointment.
