Our Shop Local Bonus program is back! Here at the Chamber, we wanted to start the new year with a big program supporting Atascadero businesses and rewarding shoppers. There’s no better way to accomplish that than with our Shop Local Bonus program! Starting February 1, you can start earning $20 gift cards for every $100 you spend at qualified Atascadero businesses. This program goes until March 31. It’s just another reason to support local!

We have a fantastic business community that has been incredibly supportive of the Chamber and the folks in our community! Local businesses hire local workers, support local families, donate to local youth programs, and support local nonprofits. Now’s our chance to give back and support them. As the Chamber, our goal is to lead the way in creating initiatives and programs that support local businesses and entrepreneurs. We hope you’ll join us in supporting and shopping locally!

How To Start Earning Gift Cards

  • Starting February 1st, 2023, spend $100 or more at participating local retailers, restaurants, or other food & beverage businesses (excluding from grocery stores and gas stations).
  • Save your receipts from your purchases. Receipts must be readable and itemized. They also must include the date, name of the business, and the full total. Receipts may be cumulative but have to be from February 1, 2023 to March 31, 2023 and equal $100.
  • Taxes, delivery fees, and shipping are not eligible for the purchase total.
  • Once you redeem your receipts, you’ll be eligible to choose your free $20 gift card to local participating businesses Chamber Member business in OUR community.

Participating Businesses & Gift Cards

Retail, restaurant, and personal service business (excluding grocery stores, hardware stores, fast food stops, big box stores and gas stations) are eligible for the Shop Local Bonus Program! So start saving your receipts from February 1 to March 31 and once they equal $100 (taxes, delivery fees, and shipping costs can’t count towards your total) redeem them for a gift card!

Once you redeem your receipts, you’ll be able to choose your free $20 gift card to local participating Chamber Member in business OUR community. Gift cards to participating businesses may run out! So, we encourage all shoppers to get their receipts turned in quickly for their gift cards. You can earn up to two free gift cards per household!

A receipt can only be used toward one redemption and may only be redeemed once.

Receipts are cumulative from the month that the purchases were made (only receipts for purchases made after 2/1/2023 will be considered for the month of February). Shipping/delivery fees and taxes do not contribute toward the $100 minimum total.

Receipts can be submitted to be considered to qualify for the promotion from every Atascadero business, excluding gas stations and grocery stores.

  • Shipping/delivery fees, gratuity, and taxes do not contribute toward $100 minimum total.

Receipts for online purchases qualify only if they are associated with one of the approved businesses and otherwise meets purchase qualifications.

Once qualified, you will receive a confirmation email and your gift card will be available for you to pick-up from the Chamber of Commerce or mailed to you (mail may take 5-10 business days).
