Taking Advantage of A Time To Learn

Business as we know it has changed. Sped up by the pandemic, we’re seeing an increase in online sales nationwide. More than ever before, small businesses are engaging in the online space to meet new customers and increase sales. At the same time, many have experienced a slow-down for in-person shopping. During this slower period, the Chamber team and I want to ensure you have every opportunity to learn new skills to develop and sustain a long-term business both in-person and online. This is why the Chamber team has launched our Business Development Series.
What is the Business Development Series? Well, we’ve partnered with a few incredible members of our community like SCORE and Mission Community Services Corporation to highlight dozens of useful and virtual webinars and workshops. Our goal is to ensure that you have the chance to grow and learn to help your business thrive now and in the future! The best part? The videos in our Business Development Series are free for our business community.
At your fingertips, you can find upcoming workshops covering how to reach more customers online, tax advice for small businesses, how to define your vision to increase your chances of long-term success, and more! There are some effects from COVID-19 that I suspect we’ll see lasting impacts from, one of which being the success of online sales and engagement. Due to the rise of this customer habit, our Business Development Series will feature many courses on how to conduct business online. After all, strengthening your online business gives you an additional opportunity to make sales and connect with new customers – a win-win.
