The Atascadero Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the American Association of University of Women (AAUW) has announced the top four finalists for the 2023 Women of Influence North County.

A woman of influence in our county making an impact by providing comprehensive services and delivering support to survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault.

WENDY LEWIS invests in people within our homeless communities. CEO and Executive Director of ECHO.

A woman of influence empowering the people in SLO County through positive change by providing food, shelter, taught life skills, and other supportive services that elevate individuals. She oversees a force of 1,500 community volunteers in support of ECHO’s mission.

JESSICA STEELY believes each of us has the opportunity to make a positive impact on those around us. Owner of Semmes & Company Builders.

A woman of influence empowering others within her industry to work through challenges and drive success. Her knowledge of sustainable building practices is making an impact on people’s lives and the future of our planet with sustainability in home building.

LISA MAJORS making an impact while serving people with mental illness and maladaptive behaviors. President and Founder of Resilient Souls.

A woman of influence, Lisa’s ability to be a constant advocate for those impacted by trauma and abuse paired with her compassion and wisdom giving individuals hope.

Each recipient has left her mark contributing to the greater good through their work and service to others driving positive change in our communities. By shining a spotlight on these remarkable individuals, the Chamber and AAUW seek to inspire others while promoting diversity, equality, and empowerment in the local community.

Plan to attend the Women of Influence North County luncheon set for Sept. 28th at the Springhill Suites in Atascadero from noon to 1:30pm. Each of the four finalists will share their experiences, and one outstanding participant will be named the 2023 Woman of Influence, receiving further recognition at the 2024 Atascadero Chamber Annual Awards Dinner and Gala next spring.
